When you are managing a lot of data entries in excel, a time comes when you have to arrange or sort the data in ascending or descending order.
To do the same, this is what we have to do:
You can observe in the image above, we have taken roll nos. in relation to marks in English.
Now the first step that we need to follow is to select the data that we want to sort in a particular order.
After the same, we need to go to “Sort & Filter” which can be found in the “Editing” options.
Then you have to choose from the options for whether you want to sort your values/ data from smallest to largest (ascending) or from largest to smallest (descending).
And there you go. Your data is sorted in the format or in the way you wanted to.
