Everyone can sort virtually anywhere with Excel Pivot Tables, but it was quite surprising for me that I can sort any row from left to right.
For example, I will use given below sample Excel sheet. In this I want to sort the table from Smallest to Largest by the values in the Confections row:

In this tutorial I will show you step by step to sort an item row from Left to Right:
Firstly, right click on a Sales Number in the April row and follow this:
Go to Sort > More Sort Options

Ensure that you have selected the followings:
Smallest to Largest, Left to Right.
In summary, you can see that by the values in the Confections row, it will sort in ascending order.
Now, click OK.
