It provides the month from a date with a simple formula. The formula is written below:
=MONTH (Cell number wherein the month will extract from)

Follow the steps to apply month formula in your system’s excel:
STEP1. First, in a blank cell, you need to enter the month function. Like this =MONTH(
STEP2. Now continue with month arguments:
Now you must be wondering what to put in this place. First, clear its which date you want to extract the month from. Then select the cell containing that date:
Now continue with applying the same formula to the remaining cells by dragging the lower right corner downwards.
Finally, here you have your results. Your month will be extracted.
