Did you know that you can create a Frequency Distribution Table with the help of Excel Pivot Table? If you need to do this in your Excel within simple steps then follow this tutorial until the last step to complete your task.
I’m going to share it with you how easy it is to create your own Frequency Distribution Chart in your Excel.
I will be creating my chart based on this table given below with Sales values to show you all as an example for this tutorial:
STEP 1: By selecting your data and following this procedure:
Insert > Tables > PivotTable you can insert a new Pivot Table.
Now after selecting Existing Worksheet you can pick an empty space so that you can place your Pivot Table by Clicking the OK option.
STEP 2: Now in the second step drag that SALES into VALUES and ROWS to update your Pivot Table.
To complete your second step click OK after selecting Count.
STEP 3: Select Group by right-clicking on your existing Pivot Table.
At last of the third step accept those suggested values to group your values by ranges of 10 and then just click OK.
STEP 4: you are almost there! Just complete it by Going to the
Insert > Charts > PivotChart
Make sure to select the Clustered Column before Clicking on OK.
So finally you have completed your Frequency Distribution with the last step of this tutorial.
