Using Power Query to Access Function Library

Excel in Office 365 has a new set of a feature known as Get & Transform. It provides a platform to perform a series of steps to help you to transform your excel data.

The M is a formula language and its revised version called power query. It has a lot of functions as well as it is a powerful language. If you want to access the function library to explore the function in M, then this tutorial will help you.

STEP 1: GO TO DATA> GET & TRANSFORM> GET DATA > FROM OTHER SOURCES> BLANK QUERY

STEP 2: After following this procedure you will get to see an open POWER QUERY EDITOR.

Type the =#shared in the formula bar to access the function library, then press the enter button of your keyboard.
